As an integral part of Mapúa Institute of Technology (MIT), the School of Health Sciences shares the Institute’s mission and vision. Specifically, it is committed to develop health resources which are socially responsive to human welfare through the implementation of a strong, dynamic, values-oriented, community based curriculum. It shall integrate state of the art technology to achieve academic excellence in an environment conducive to learning and caring.

The School of Health Sciences shall:

Strive for academic excellence through a qualified faculty and well-prepared curriculum that provides the necessary learning tools for the acquisition of the essential cognitive, affective and psychomotor skills for basic nursing practice.
Create a community and an environment conducive to developing, learning and nurturing faculty, students, staff and related health professionals
Build a dynamic Health Sciences community which shall make a difference in the 21 st century.
